No aircon, but with windows open, good airflow. It was a non-smoking unit, but there was a bench directly outside our unit with an ashtray available. Not suitable for wheelchair access in our unit. Shower had plenty of hot water and the WC was surprisingly spacious.
The 1-person-at-a-time bathroom setup was a little odd, in that it had a shower with a very small sink facing, and a toilet separated into another room within the bathroom possibly due to the close proximity of the kitchen. I found the bed a little hard, but my husband with his bad back loved it. Unit was cleaned daily and towels were replaced. The cutlery and crockery were all clean as were the pots and pans. Cooking was done on a little 2-burner hot plate on the bench, or the microwave. It was off the main road, but we couldn't hear any traffic.
